Know a Family in Need?
Many of the families we support are identified by community members who care enough to speak up.
Those Who Need Help Most Rarely Ask for It
Every year, families in our community quietly navigate medical challenges, financial hardship, personal loss, and overwhelming life circumstances.
Often, they continue carrying those burdens without asking for help.
That’s where this community steps in.
The Gratitude Run was built to support local families during difficult seasons, and nominations help us identify families who may benefit from that support.
Impact at a Glance
Who We Support
Hero Families may be facing:
serious medical diagnoses
long-term illness or treatment
unexpected financial hardship
personal or family crisis
life-changing events impacting daily stability
Every situation is unique, and nominations are reviewed thoughtfully and carefully by our team.
Our goal is simple: to support families in our community who genuinely need people around them.
Who Qualifies?
The Power of a Community That Pays Attention
Some of the families we’ve supported were nominated by friends, coworkers, neighbors, teachers, coaches, or people who simply recognized that someone was carrying more than they should have to alone.
That willingness to notice, care, and act is what makes this community special.
A nomination is more than a form submission - it’s a reminder to a family that they are seen and supported.
Why it Matters?
A Note on How We Choose
Hero Families are nominated confidentially by members of the community - a neighbor, a coworker, a coach, a teacher. Someone who sees what others might miss. Our board reviews every nomination with care, and every family is approached with dignity and respect. Nobody is defined by their hardship here. They are defined by the community that chose to stand beside them.
Help Us Support a Family in Need
If you know a family facing a difficult season, we invite you to reach out. Your nomination could help connect them with a community ready to stand beside them.
